Meet The Girls
I finally have my hens for the backyard. Aren't they pretty? The red one is a Rhode Island Red, the white one is a mix of something (I can't remember), and the black one is a Barred Plymouth Rock. It's not much of an introduction with no names yet. I need to name them...any suggestions? By the way, fresh eggs are the best. :)

Nice poultry! I thought about getting chickens when we moved here. ARe they alot of work? Do you have a chicken run or coop for them?
they are pretty - so do they just chill in the backyard??
Wow! That's awesome. Are they expensive? What's the upkeep like? I've always thought about doing that. Great way to save money on eggs, right?
