We celebrated a proud moment last weekend with Austin and Anne Elyse. They won ribbons in our multi-stake youth art competition, All Things Beautiful. Austin won 2nd place in his age group and Anne Elyse won 1st and 3rd.
Austin's work was titled: "Momma Lion"

Papa and Grandma came down for the occasion and also brought Great Grandma Henderson with them so she could see our house for the first time as well. It was a gorgeous day (and we've had very few of those around here lately). We BBQ'd and hung out at the house then headed down to the church building to see the artwork. The mountain was out in all it's glory! There's an amazing view of it on our drive into church. I also love our new building. It's brand spankin' new (not even a year old). It's the same building as the stake center in Palmyra, New York, but not quite as fancy on the inside.
