June Roses @ Pt. Defiance

I had a photoshoot at Pt. Defiance park in June, and afterwards I couldn't help but stop and smell the roses and take some pics too!

Quotes From The Kids

Katrina to Austin: "Don't be anal." Austin's response: "I'm not being anal. I'm being SPECIFIC."
Austin to Anne Elyse: "Hang on real tight, because I'm going to do something stupid."
Katrina to Austin: "You don't need a girlfriend." Austin (age 8) to Katrina: "Well, I've kinda been thinking about getting one of those."
Austin: "Women like men in fast cars."
Austin to Mom: "You think you're running the show around here!" Katrina: "You're right. I AM!"
Austin: "So, when Dad got home from his mission, you and him went to the temple one night and got married?" Katrina: "Uh, huh." Austin: "Then what did you do after that? Did you guys go home and watch movies?" Katrina: "Uh...yep!"
Anne Elyse, as we're driving on 1-5 and she sees the Seattle skyline all lit up at night: "Mom! I can see the whole world!"
Katrina (after Austin was back-talking): "Would Jesus talk to me like that?" Austin: "Well, I'm not Jesus."
Katrina: "Do I need to call Santa and tell him not to bother coming to our house, because you guys are being naughty?" Austin: "Well, there's no cell service in the North Pole."
Katrina in response to Austin's complaints about REALLY wanting some camoflaugue gear he saw at the store: "Well, maybe you could ask santa for that for Christmas." Austin: "Mom! Santa might know that I'm 6, and that I'm not old enough to go hunting."
Tyler: "I wa-wa-wanna, wanna, wanna watch Wace Cars." (That's a lot of "w's" in one sentence)!
Austin, saying matter-of-factly as he flexes his bicep: "I have low-fat arms."
Austin: "Damn." Papa: "What did you just say?" Austin: "Oh, I'm just practicing my Japanese. I speak French too."
Anne Elyse: "Mom, I really don't like this messy house." Katrina: "Are you going to help mommy clean it up?" Anne Elyse: "Ummm...no."
Tyler: "I want chicken."
Austin: "Mom! Moose just ate one of the baby chicks!"
Keith to Austin: "I told you not to touch that tool. Why are you touching it?" Austin: "Well, Dad, I can't help it, because I'm addicted to tools. Are you addicted to tools? You have a lot of them."
Anne Elyse: "Your breath stinks. Do you need to go potty?"
Austin: "Mom, President Hinckley loved the WHOLE church...Mom, I love this WHOLE family."
Tyler: "Kung Fu Monkey!"
Austin, screaming to mom who is in the shower: "The microwave is on fire, the microwave is on fire!!"
Anne Elyse: "I need earrings...DIAMONDS."
