Weekend Visit To Great Grandma's House

Last weekend we went to visit my Grandma Henderson who lives on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in Sequim, Washington.

We left Friday morning, caught the 11:30 a.m. ferry and were in Sequim by about 1 p.m. It was really nice to just hang out and visit. Grandma treated us to dinner at the Mexican restaurant in town that night. The next morning Keith hauled away the old refrigerator in the basement that is no longer in use and did a few extra chores she needed done around the house. It is such a beautiful house, but it is a lot of maintenance for her, which is why it's up for sale now. :( It's been on the market for awhile though, and I think it will take just the right buyer. For her sake, I hope it sells soon, but for us we love to have her close and the kids love to visit out there.

Saturday we all piled into Dad's truck and took a trip to the Olympic Game Farm. We've been a few times before, but the kids really love it, so we went again.

Lizzie just ran in and saw the pixs of the game farm and Austin and said, "No Fair!" I guess she is wishing she was at the game farm with Austin.
