My "baby" turned 3 on Sunday. One of Tyler's favorite treats is cake, so he really liked the cake. He's loves doing games on sesamestreet.org, and can do a pretty good Cookie Monster impersonation too. I was telling him the other day that he and mommy spent his first Halloween in the hospital. He was born exactly one month early. I was due November 26 and he arrived on October 26. He was a tiny guy at 5 lbs. 1 oz. They always loose a little weight after birth, so when we took him home he was under 5 lbs! He was pretty healthy though and didn't have to be in the NICU. The only complication, if you can call it that, was that he had to go back in the hospital for his jaundice. He was admitted around 4 p.m. on Halloween, and I remember being all emotional that I wasn't going to get to take the other two kids trick-or-treating. Despite a surprising and stressful arrival, Tyler was a sweet little angel of a baby, and he still has a very sensitive and sweet spirit, not to mention he is a cutie pie. I love his light blond hair and dark brown eyes. Happy Birthday Ty Ty The Nice Guy!

Did you make that cake, it is so GREAT!! So simple and very creative with the cookie mouth. I'm thinking I might need to steal the idea for Isaac's second bday (not for another year though thankfully!)

LOVE the cake...I wanna know how you made it! I totally had to take a second look...was that Jack with Ty? They both look so big...they change so much in just a couple of months! Happy B-Day Ty Ty!

What a cute cake!!!! Makes me feel guilty for the 13 x 9 cake pan cake's I've been making for my girls. :) Guess I better be a nicer mom like you. :) They sure grow up way too quickly, huh.
